It is a very sad news. I met her in Kyoto NaGISA/F-MAP Meeting in 2004. She was really one of the most friendly and kindly connected people in CoML and me.

Some of you may have learned this sad news by now. The Secretariat hasbeen informed that Robin Rigby, NaGISA's project manager and outreachliaison, was killed on Sunday in a traffic accident in Kushimoto, Japan.This comes as a shock and is a tremendous loss for NaGISA, for theCensus and for many of us, personally, who over the years became goodfriends with Robin. She was only 30 years old and was one of the mostenergetic, friendly and well connected people in the Census.
Robin Rigby's funeral will take place on December 15th at 1 pm (local time in Japan, +9:00 to GST).
