Mean trophic level in Japanese fisheries

Worm et al. (2009) in Science has been introduced by Japanese media.
This article included few data of Japanese fisheries. In Fig. S3 of online material, I found discontinuities in Kuroshio and Sea of Japan. These look odd. We can check the database. Now Japanese scientists are making network (J-BON, Japan branch for Groups on Earth Observation, Biodiversity Observation Network) and try to compile database from Japan. I joined this network and I am a chair of Working Group for Post 2010 target.
Now, I am asking Japanese fisheries scientists for additional data from Japan for Fig.3 and Fig. 4 in Worm et al.
Instead, I introduce three figures on my web site, Mean trophic level of Japanese fisheries (until 1970s catch outside Japanese EEZ is probably a big effect. We have another problem that FISHBASE does not include trophic level of squid), MTL of Shiretoko World Heritage site and the sum of ABC (Allowable Biological Catch) of major species within EEZ. Some Japanese scientists are now making Japanese data like fig. 3B of Worm et al. There are some fish resources of which Bcur >> Bmsy and Ucur
<< Umsy (Pacific saury, anchory...) and some others are opposite (sardine...). Pacific saury distributes throughout north Pacific, but American people eat very few.
